March 2010 Project 365

Project 365 – March [adrotate group=”6″] Photos From March 2010 Another month bites the dust. I do not know about you, but 2010 is flying by for me. March was a good month, due in large part to the fact that my girlfriend came out for a week. That is always nice. We had fun and got a lot of work done. We are sponsoring a show in Phoenix next week and had a lot to do to get ready for it. Plus, it was tax time, so we had that fun to get out of the way. Anyway, thank …

Got Web Host?

Day 90 of Project 365, and I am off on one of my daily walks. Today, I am breaking in my new hat. We will be in Phoenix next week and, if history is any indicator, it is going to be quite sunny. I knew I was going to need a hat and my last Got Web Host hat was seen flying off into the distance, somewhere off the shore of Maui. I think a dolphin got it, but it could have been a porpoise. Today’s photo is of my new hat.

Focus

Day 89 of Project 365. This daily photo thing is pretty cool actually. I am looking forward to putting up the March gallery, because March was a pretty good month. April is going to rock. Stay tuned for that. Unfortunately, this was not as focused as I would have liked. Why I did not think about using the “children” setting while he was running until now is beyond me. Man.

Nightly Walks Too

It is really nice here, even the evenings are pleasant. Here Buddy and I take a break on our walk, while we wait for the signal to turn green. Day 88 of Project 365, my daily photo blog.

Calm day at Pt Vicente

Calm Day On the Bay [adrotate group=”6″] Beautiful Spring Day at Pt Vicente After spending some time with my son, I decided to head back up to Pt Vicente to try and get some pictures of migrating whales. As soon as I picked my spot to photograph from, a couple guys that were already there proceeded to tell me about a couple dolphins that had been playing around in the cove beneath us. They showed me the pictures of the dolphins spinning in air, and basically acting like they were performing at Sea World or something. Naturally, once I got …

CNN iReporter at large

One of the hats I wear as a photographer is as a CNN iReporter. Day 87 of my daily photo journal known as Project 365 has me taking a “baddog shot” of me doing a weekend assignment for CNN. We were supposed to find a pay phone and write a story about it, with pictures. I went the extra step and did a video as well.

Pure Evil

Got my Wii disc from Netflix so I can now start watching movies on demand. Not really convinced this is a good thing. Day 86 of Project 365.

Yes, I am irritated

Woke up early today. Had an event I wanted to go to this morning and they wanted us there at 10:15. Luckily UPS called and woke me. So, I got up, walked the dog, grabbed the camera and headed out to LA. After I got a parking ticket, someone got on a megaphone and suggested we move our cars. Yes, after the ticket was issued. That is when they opened the gates to the parking lot too. Day 85 of my daily photo log known as Project 365.

Blind Childrens Easter Egg Hunt

Beeping Easter Egg Hunt [adrotate group=”6″] Blind Childrens Center, Los Angeles Every once in a while I like to show a kinder, gentler baddog. When that feeling comes over me, I like to direct this kindness to underprivileged children. One of my favorite charities is the Anita Boden Foundation. Today, as a regular donor for the past several years, I was invited to attend the Blind Childrens Center’s Beeping Easter Egg Hunt. As you can see from the smiling faces, blind or not, everyone loves an Easter Egg Hunt. [adrotate group=”1″]

Wii changed me

126 days ago I purchased a Wii Fit. I had heard good things about it, but was not really convinced, after all, it was a game. Well, after 126 days of yoga, boxing, snowboarding, hula hoop and more, I have to say, it does help. I am far from being back in my prime, but I am definitely in better shape than I was 126 days ago. I took this photo because for the first time in more than 10 years, my bathroom scale showed me at under 200 pounds. 198 to be exact. Considering it was not that long …
