I attended ad:tech San Francisco again this year, and I have to say, I like where things seem to be headed. More on that later. Tuesday was the first day of the expo, and the sessions continued. Next week, the Internet Marketing event, ad:tech San Francisco 2011 will take place at the Moscone Center in the city of my birth, San Francisco, CA. After leaving ad:tech at the Moscone Center, I grabbed some dinner then headed over to 1015 Folsom for The Marketers Ball. The concert starred Too Short with a live band and included DJ YT Cracker, the Black Rock City Allstars and MASK featuring Money B. Sponsored by FriendFinder Networks and Infinite Traffic, promoter Darren Blatt’s many years of experience putting on these shows provided a very fun time for anyone that attended.

I only had a few hours there so I did not get a chance to catch any keynotes to speak of, but it was good running into people that I have known over the years on the trade show circuit; and seeing what is new.
