Suited and booted

I have lost a lot of weight this year. One might think that this is a good thing, but it is beginning to get expensive. I have a few thousand invested in suits and I am having to get each altered in order the wear them again. Since I have several functions to attend in the next couple of weeks, it was time for me to hit the garment district to visit my tailor and to accessorize. My photo of the day for today is of one the outfits I put together for Las Vegas.

Take Charge and Wii Did It

My loyal readers probably recall a post or two in which I mentioned that I had started using the Wii Fit. According to Wii I should weigh 167 pounds. Now, we all know that is never going to happen, and in fact, it would not even allow me to set that as a goal as it seems to have a 25 pound limit. So, I set my goal for losing 25 pounds in a year. Extensive travel makes weight control very difficult, at least for me. It is difficult to get good food on the road. Those last five pounds …

A Picture a Day, July 2010

Photo of the Day, Project 365 [adrotate group=”6″] July 2010 Photos Sorry this is late, but there was a legitimate reason which I will not go into here. July was a pretty active month. It started off with some friends taking me out to dinner and then to see Devo in concert. It was pretty fun. I should probably put up a gallery from the show. The next day I flew to Indiana to visit Tanya and to participate in the annual GotWebHost.com 4th of July Extravaganza. Tanya flew home with me to attend VidCon and then we spent several …

Getting Wii Fit

Several months ago I started using a Wii Fit on a daily basis, well, any day that I was home anyway. A month or so ago I was pretty much forced into an upgrade to Wii Fit+. I really like this Wii Fit+ as it sets up combination workout routines that I would never consider doing on my own. I have to admit, I do believe I am seeing progress and some definition. My photo of the day for day 207 shows the progress I have made since the last full frontal pic.

Back Home for July Photo of the Day

It looks like I am back home for July. Had planned on taking a ride up north but a broken lock on my bike’s tour pack eliminated that possibility as I do not feel like putting my livelihood at risk. So, here is a summary of the last few days. Friday was Day 190 of my picture a day and it found me in Los Angeles at VidCon. I am sure there are worse ways to spend a day, I just can not think of them offhand. Tanya wanted to go back to LA for another dose of VidCon, or …

Not a great day

Guess I walked a little too much yesterday. Took Buddy for his morning walk and by the time I got home I was noticing a problem. Since it hurt to wear my boot and I could not even stand on my Wii board, I decided that today would be a good day to stay off my feet. Day 136 of Project 365 and my photo shows pain central.

Working Out

As I have mentioned before, we are preparing to sponsor a show in Phoenix next week. This means lots of outside, by the pool time. Good thing I have been using my Wii daily. I have started playing with my Total Gym more the last several days as well. Muscle pain feels good. Day 92 of Project 365.

Pure Evil

Got my Wii disc from Netflix so I can now start watching movies on demand. Not really convinced this is a good thing. Day 86 of Project 365.

Wii changed me

126 days ago I purchased a Wii Fit. I had heard good things about it, but was not really convinced, after all, it was a game. Well, after 126 days of yoga, boxing, snowboarding, hula hoop and more, I have to say, it does help. I am far from being back in my prime, but I am definitely in better shape than I was 126 days ago. I took this photo because for the first time in more than 10 years, my bathroom scale showed me at under 200 pounds. 198 to be exact. Considering it was not that long …

Mii 100 Days

My Mii celebrates 100 days of Wii existence. I had been thinking about getting a Wii Fit for over a year. I was told it was a good product for work at home people. Apparently, 100 days ago my girlfriend flew into town and we stopped at some store. I am faithful to it though. If I am home, I at least do a body test. I usually do some yoga and throw in boxing for the cardio, and the skiing and snowboarding just because I am so bad at it. When Tanya is here we seem to do a …
