Since we had pretty good luck on Saturday, we decided to return to Horsetail Falls on Sunday. We got there about 3.5 hours early and picked our spot. Everything looked great until the sun started going down. There was a huge cloud bank which threatened to block the sun’s rays from hitting the falls, a very important ingredient to the equation. To be honest, I was ready to pack it in along with many others.

Luckily, Tanya wanted to stick it out. At the last minute the sun broke through and we got our shots.
