These photos are from our most recent visit to Monkish Brewing Company in Torrance, with our Business & Beer networking group. Monkish Brewing is a microbrewery in Torrance that specializes in Belgian style ales, with usually seven or eight different options available. Even though the weather was a little iffy with it being chilly and some rain we still had a nice turnout. It seems that Business & Beer is growing to the point that our minimum size is now 10-15 when not too long ago our smaller groups might have only eight. It will be interesting to see where …

Two months ago, Tanya and I came up with the idea of Business & Beer; a networking group for small business owners in the South Bay that would meet after normal working hours and we would support the local craft brewers in the area. Since we became familiar with many of the brewpubs and gastropubs in the South Bay area, we decided to include them in the rotation. These photos are from our third Business N Beer gathering that we had last night at Monkish Brewing Company, in Torrance. We had a very nice group of people that showed up and it was our biggest group to date with about 17 or 18 attendees. The interesting thing, for me anyway, was that the group consisted of a few people from our first gathering at Select Beer Store; there were a few from our gathering last week at Abigaile and there were many people that were attending for the first time.
