Breaking of the Bread at Itzik Hagadol

When Tanya comes to visit, I try to mix it up with the places we eat. Some places I have introduced her to have become regular stops when she is in town. One place we were both recently introduced to is Itzik Hagadol Grill. Delicious food, but a long drive, so we have only been there three or four times. If I lived closer it would be more frequent, for sure. Day 163 of my picture a day shows me getting ready to enjoy a Mixed Meat skewer (chicken thighs, lamb, kabab, hanging tender, fillet). Toda to Marina for the great service and the easy to follow Hebrew lesson.

Another month bites the dust. I do not know about you, but 2010 is flying by for me. March was a good month, due in large part to the fact that my girlfriend came out for a week. That is always nice. We had fun and got a lot of work done. We are sponsoring a show in Phoenix next week and had a lot to do to get ready for it. Plus, it was tax time, so we had that fun to get out of the way. Anyway, thank you March, it was real. April is going to be a ton of fun. I have been working out my right index finger in preparation for all the photos that will be coming up.

Authentic Israeli Food

When I was first introduced to Itzik Hagadol, I was told the name was Big Itzik. When I wrote about it last month, I called it Big Itzik. As I was standing outside waiting on our dinner guests I noticed it did not say “big” anywhere. I was told that hagadol means big. I have not been able to verify that. What I do know, is that their food is delicious.
