Torrance Fire Fighters Association 40th Annual Spaghetti Dinner

These photos were taken tonight at the 40th Annual Spaghetti Dinner to benefit the Alisa Ann Ruch California Burn Foundation which was sponsored by the Torrance Fire Fighters Association. The family friendly event was held at the Ken Miller Recreation Center in Torrance, CA. While I have lived in Torrance for more than 40 years and I had been aware of the event, it took joining the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce to get me to finally attend one. Saturday morning at Torrance Farmers Market

These photos were taken Saturday morning at the Torrance Farmers Market on Crenshaw Blvd. by Wilson Park. Lots of things to see and eat so bring the whole family. The Vitamin D is free as is the parking. Continue reading

Torrance is ready for Christmas

Tanya and I decided to take a drive around Torrance last night, and check out the Christmas lights in some of the smaller neighborhoods. Not every area is going to be as dressed up as the Sleepy Hollow area of Torrance, but it seemed that any street you turn on will have several homes decorated in the holiday spirit. These photos are of some of those homes. Continue reading
