Lady of Magic 2012 New Year’s Eve Party Photos

These photos are from last night’s New Year’s Eve Party at the Redondo Beach Castle; hosted by the Lady of Magic, Sisuepahn Phila. We met Sisuepahn last year when we attended her New Year’s Eve Party 2011. We liked her immediately and immediately recognized that along with being a nice person, she is a really good magician. Sisuepahn puts on various fundraising events using her magic as a draw. She supports several orphanages in Laos and provided assistance to local charities, such as the Midnight Mission in downtown Los Angeles. Last night’s event was to assist the Midnight Mission. New Year’s Eve fundraiser slated for the Redondo Beach Castle

At the end of 2011 I made a decision that GotBaddog.com would dedicate much of my content to promoting local businesses and non-profits. When Tanya was looking for something for us to do on New Year’s Eve, she discovered the Lady Of Magic at the Redondo Beach Castle was having a New Year’s Eve party that was also a fundraiser, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Midnight Mission, a homeless shelter in downtown Los Angeles. It was then that we had the pleasure of meeting Sisuepahn Phila, the “Lady of Magic.” Sisuepahn is a world renowned and …

The true stars were the Wounded Warriors that attended tonight’s event. Besides …

1st Annual Rocktoberfest at LA Live, benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project

Back in April, when I made my first visit to Rock & Brews, I was walking around checking out the artwork decorating the place, I could not but help notice among all the rock and roll images was a lone banner on the center of the main wall. On it was the image of one soldier carrying another, obviously wounded soldier, with the words, “Wounded Warrior Project” below. Upon closer inspection I could see that it had been signed by many people from different branches of the armed forces. I made a mental note to investigate the Wounded Warrior Project …
