Have dog, will travel

Day 94 of my daily photo journal, known as Project 365. Today was spent primarily in the garage as we worked on my son’s bike, replacing his wheels with the ones I gave him for his birthday tomorrow. At one point, Buddy was nowhere to be found. Turns out he had decided to help himself to the trunk of my car. He has never been in there before, and I certainly never offered it to him. Judging by the look on his face, he has a new place to hang out while I am taking photos on our upcoming journey. Happy Easter.

Spring is here. Who says we do not have all four seasons here? It was a beautiful day, and a Sunday, so that meant it was time to meet my son for our weekly ride. This week we rode out to Tom’s Farm in Corona. Never been there before, but it seems to be a pretty popular hangout for bikers on Sundays. Daniel, Edson and I took a little ride over to Lake Elsinore to take a couple pictures since the first time Daniel and I tried a picture by the lake, we were not very successful. I like today’s results.

Cruising thru the SFV

When you least expect it

My son and I were headed up to Santa Barbara, when I noticed a problem with his bike around West LA. We were in a pretty lousy part of town to try and find a place to work on a motorcycle. Soon we came upon the wide open arms of the VA medical center, with ample parking out of the way of everyone. Daniel took care of his issue and we headed out. To get back on Wilshire we had to go under it. This is what we found.

Do yourself a favor, use the full screen mode. I think the video came out really nice considering the lighting.

Headed into Santa Ynez

Headed up the 246 we leave Los Padres enter Santa Ynez and the Chumash Indian Reservation. Yes, there is a casino. No, we did not stop there. Maybe next time. If I do, I will be sure to do a review. hmmm, wonder if I can slide my helmet cam by security. Just kidding guys.
