Pat Furey for Mayor Lawn Signs Now Available

Pat Furey for Mayor

The Pat Furey for Mayor lawn signs are now available! Torrance residents should be aware that in a few months the General Municipal Election during which we will elect a new mayor as Mayor Scotto will term out. As I announced back in June, I am supporting Torrance City Councilman Pat Furey in his bid to be elected Mayor of Torrance.

If you would like to join me in supporting Pat Furey for Mayor in 2014 cash donations are always welcomed, but there is another way you can help that costs you nothing and if real estate appraisals are correct, might actually raise the value of your home. These beautiful Pat Furey for Mayor lawn signs are not only easy to install, but could immediately increase the value of your home by up to 10%. Of course, your results may vary, but why take a chance? You can request your lawn signs by calling 1-310-613-9099 or email info@councilmanpatfurey.com. Be sure to include how many signs you would like for you and your friends. You can increase the value of the entire neighborhood in one swoop.

Must Love Dog

I have become aware that I have a lot of new readers, so I will have to stop presuming that you know anything about me. Well, I am a dog person. Naturally, there are cats that I can and have appreciated, but push comes to shove, dogs win every time. I have Buddy. Buddy is a comfort dog and has traveled with me all over the country. He even went to Joplin to offer support to the victims of their tornado strike in 2011. I do not think you will find anyone that could suggest that I am not a fan of dogs. The thing is, not all dogs are equal. Unless you are very lucky, it takes a lot of work to end up with a dog like Buddy.

I am a RAD Lovegiver

As I explained a couple days ago, I am now devoting 365 posts on GotBaddog to bringing more awareness to Rheumatoid Autoimmune Disease (RAD) and the Rheumatoid Patient Foundation. It was Tanya’s idea, so it was only natural that I seek her opinion on terminology and phrases that are common in the community. She is a big fan of a blog called RAWarrior, and she read that people in my position should be classified as an RAD Caregiver. I accepted the moniker, but to be honest, I am not really fond of it. “Caregiver” gives the impression that I am here as a nurse which is definitely not the case. I prefer being her Lovegiver as that is much closer to the truth.
