Training baddog

Those that know me know that Harley-Davidson is one of my greatest passions. If I was put in the situation that I had to give up photography or motorcycles, I would have to drop the camera. It is my therapy, my release, my church. Living in Southern California gives me a riding season of 12 months so when I feel the need to get away from the hassles of everyday life, escape is as close as my garage. There are a couple days a year I like to go riding whether or not I “feel the need” based solely on …

Must Love Dog

I have become aware that I have a lot of new readers, so I will have to stop presuming that you know anything about me. Well, I am a dog person. Naturally, there are cats that I can and have appreciated, but push comes to shove, dogs win every time. I have Buddy. Buddy is a comfort dog and has traveled with me all over the country. I am a RAD Lovegiver

As I explained a couple days ago, I am now devoting 365 posts on GotBaddog to bringing more awareness to Rheumatoid Autoimmune Disease (RAD) and the Rheumatoid Patient Foundation. Saturday morning at Torrance Farmers Market

Long time readers know that I took up juicing about 18 months ago. When Tanya would come out I would offer a taste of the concoctions I made, but her reaction was along the lines of it was not terrible. She was not impressed. A few weeks after she moved in, someone mentioned the movie, “Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead.” It seems like she immediately went to Netflix and put it on my streaming list. We watched the movie that night. The next day, Tanya asked if I would show her how to use the juicer. As you can imagine, …

Living with RAD

I have to admit, I was having a real problem deciding how I wanted to start this story. I could have said that I am a man that now carries a purse, but my girlfriend laughed and said that was not true. Okay, maybe it is not a purse, per se, but it might as well be. I do not really have a problem with it, as I volunteered to do so, but it is a recent development in my life. There have been several major changes in my life since October, and carrying around a “purse” is but a …
