These photos were taken at our latest Business N Beer get-together that we had last night at Strand Brewing Company in Torrance. As yesterday was International IPA Day, it was fitting that we met at a micro brewery that provides such nice ales, and in particular, a couple very nice IPA’s. As a result of our participation and documentation of the American Craft Beer Week in May, we became aware of several new local craft brewers, two of which are Monkish Brewing and Strand Brewing Company, both of which are located in Torrance. Day five of American Craft Beer Week found us at three local brewers; Monkish Brewing, El Segundo Brewing Company and Strand Brewing Company. Monkish and Strand are both located in Torrance; I will let you guess what city El Segundo Brewing is in. While we have tried some of the craft brews from each of the brewers, it was at Select Beer Store during their South Bay Tap Takeover; so we had only tried one or two of their brews.
