Suited and booted

I have lost a lot of weight this year. One might think that this is a good thing, but it is beginning to get expensive. I have a few thousand invested in suits and I am having to get each altered in order the wear them again. Since I have several functions to attend in the next couple of weeks, it was time for me to hit the garment district to visit my tailor and to accessorize.

Take Charge and Wii Did It

My loyal readers probably recall a post or two in which I mentioned that I had started using the Wii Fit. According to Wii I should weigh 167 pounds. Now, we all know that is never going to happen, and in fact, it would not even allow me to set that as a goal as it seems to have a 25 pound limit. So, I set my goal for losing 25 pounds in a year. Extensive travel makes weight control very difficult, at least for me. It is difficult to get good food on the road. Those last five pounds were really being a pain to shed.

A week ago I started using Take Charge. I mix 1/4 cup every morning with a little yogurt. My picture of the day for day 301 is of my Wii informing me that I had lost 25+ pounds ahead of my target date. I have to give Take Charge credit for helping me get those last few pounds off.

July 2010 Photos

Sorry this is late, but there was a legitimate reason which I will not go into here. July was a pretty active month. It started off with some friends taking me out to dinner and then to see Devo in concert. It was pretty fun. I should probably put up a gallery from the show. The next day I flew to Indiana to visit Tanya and to participate in the annual GotWebHost.com 4th of July Extravaganza. Tanya flew home with me to attend VidCon and then we spent several days celebrating my birthday. Other than that, the highlight of the month had to be when I visited Gu Gu Sushi & Roll and discovered they had created a GotBaddog.com roll in my honor. It is delicious.
