To be honest, I had never heard the term before a day or two ago. This flash mob had a pillow fight in Pershing Square with about 5,000 participants. My daily photo shows me with the flash mob embroiled in a massive brawl. Day 93 of Project 365.

These photos are from the event held in Los Angeles, CA at Pershing Square. It was supposed to be a 15 minute long event, but it lasted several minutes longer.
