Long time readers know that I took up juicing about 18 months ago. When Tanya would come out I would offer a taste of the concoctions I made, but her reaction was along the lines of it was not terrible. She was not impressed. A few weeks after she moved in, someone mentioned the movie, “Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead.” It seems like she immediately went to Netflix and put it on my streaming list. We watched the movie that night. The next day, Tanya asked if I would show her how to use the juicer. As you can imagine, I was more than happy to do so and she has been juicing us up daily. It is great.

One of the advantages to living here is that not only can you go walk around the Farmers Market on a sunny January morning in a t-shirt, but that same warmth and sunshine makes for some great looking fruits and vegetables. These photos were taken Saturday morning at the Torrance Farmers Market on Crenshaw Blvd. by Wilson Park. Lots of things to see and eat so bring the whole family. The Vitamin D is free as is the parking.
