Mesa Verde National Park

Today’s photos are of Mesa Verde National Park. It is known for having some of the best preserved cliff dwellings that the Pueblo people used for 700 years. That is some endurable construction! It was cool seeing things that I have only seen pictures of. We needed to put some miles on, and we spent longer than anticipated at Mesa Verde, so we headed to Gallup, NM to hole up for the night. Just an FYI, starting Saturday, April 17, all National Parks will have free admission for a week. I wonder if that is going to effect traffic.
