Day two of our road trip began in Las Vegas, NV. The drive on I-15 North, as you leave NV takes you into the Virgin River Gorge, which is pretty amazing. I have driven it several times, but this is the first time I was able to get photos of the place. After a late lunch in St. George, UT we headed into Springdale which is where one of the entrances to Zion National Park. One visit there and you have to imagine what the first settlers thought when they stumbled upon it. We will have to go back in the morning.
