My girlfriend and I were scheduled to be in Vegas longer than we needed to be so we decided to spend a day in the Mojave Desert, taking pictures. We have a good friend that is a professional photographer and he agreed to show us some of his favorite spots in the Valley of Fire State Park. He also gave us some photography tips that we put to good use, immediately.

This place has some amazing rock formations and landscapes that were enhanced by the winter skies. There was too much to see in one day, so we will definitely be making a few more visits back there.
